Do I need an account to use Number Two?

No. Number Two works fully offline with no sign-in required. All data is stored locally on your device. An account is only needed if you want to sync data across devices or participate in the leaderboard.

What is the Bristol Stool Scale?

The Bristol Stool Scale is a medical classification system developed at the University of Bristol. It categorizes stool into seven types based on form - from hard lumps (Type 1) to entirely liquid (Type 7). Types 3 and 4 are generally considered ideal. Gastroenterologists worldwide use this scale for diagnosis and treatment.

Is my health data private?

Yes. Number Two is local-first - your data stays on your device by default. We use no third-party analytics, no ad tracking, and no telemetry. On iOS, your database is encrypted at rest. Optional cloud sync uses encrypted transit and you can delete all cloud data at any time from Settings.

What does Number Two Pro include?

Pro unlocks: unlimited history (free shows 14 days), AI-powered digestive insights, advanced stats with 30-day/90-day/yearly views, doctor-ready PDF reports, weekly digest summaries, multiple profiles, 26 additional achievement badges, and the Trophy Cabinet.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Number Two, then tap Cancel. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period. Number Two cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf - Apple manages all billing.

Does Number Two work on Apple Watch?

Yes. Number Two includes a full Apple Watch app with a regularity ring, Bristol Scale picker, and quick logging. Logs from your Watch sync automatically when you next open the app on your iPhone.

Can I export my data for my doctor?

Yes. Pro users can generate professional PDF reports summarizing bowel movement history, Bristol type distribution, and patterns. All users can export data as CSV. Both options are in Settings.

What are the iOS widget options?

Number Two offers six widget surfaces: small (regularity ring + quick log), medium (ring + last log + streak), large (full dashboard with Bristol type buttons), plus three lock screen widgets (circular gauge, rectangular summary, and inline text). Add them via long-press on your home screen.

How do I delete my data?

To delete cloud data: go to Settings > Delete Account. To delete local data: go to Settings > Delete All Data. To remove everything: do both, then uninstall the app.

Is Number Two a medical device?

No. Number Two is a personal wellness tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI insights are for informational purposes only. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns.
