Number Two is local-first - your data lives on your device by default. Cloud sync is optional and always under your control. We never sell your health information to anyone.
All bowel movement logs, statistics, and settings are stored on your device using a local database. The app works fully offline without an account. On iOS, your database is protected by NSFileProtectionComplete - it is encrypted whenever your device is locked.
If you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, your logs are encrypted in transit and synced to our cloud provider (Supabase) so you can restore them on a new device. You can delete all cloud data at any time from Settings.
If you use AI-powered insights (Pro feature), an anonymized summary of your entries is sent to our server for analysis. Personal identifiers, notes, and timestamps are stripped before processing. No raw health data is sent to any third-party AI provider.
If you opt in to the Throne Room leaderboard, an anonymous username and your weekly scores are stored in the cloud. No health details are shared - only aggregate scores.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which receives purchase receipts and a device identifier to verify entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your health data.
We do not use third-party analytics or ad tracking services. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no telemetry.
You can export your data as CSV or PDF at any time. To delete all cloud data, use the Delete Account option in Settings. Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app.
Number Two is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
